Youth Meeting Chair

We are looking for our next Youth Meeting Chair! Youth Meeting is a delegation-based program for 12-13 year olds.   CISV Detroit has Program Chairs for each international program we participate in as a chapter. This includes Village, Youth Meeting, Step Up, Fortnight, Seminar Camp, and Junior Counselors at Village.   Program Chair responsibilities include:

• Attend monthly board meetings
• Collect applications, interview and screen children and leaders interested in applying for the Youth Meeting program
• Match delegates and leaders together to form delegations
• Assist families of traveling delegates throughout the entire process
• Help train parents on what Youth Meeting looks like at Prep Day
• Debrief participants upon their return home
