Extravaganza is our chapter’s big, annual fundraising event — the main way we fund the international programs that we host in Detroit. Each year, these programs bring more than 100 youth and adults from around the world to the Detroit area. Our young people from the Detroit area are able to participate in CISV programs around the world only because we host CISV programs here in Detroit. Extravaganza helps us do that — and it’s also a fun opportunity to connect with people who share CISV’s vision of peace through global friendship.
