Village Staff

CISV Detroit is hosting a 4-week Village for 11-year-olds from 10-12 countries. Small groups of children accompanied by adult leaders from around the world will come to metro Detroit for this multicultural, peace-focused camp. We are recruiting staff to plan and run the Village.   What you need to know:

• CISV Detroit Village goes from June 26 - July 23, 2026.
• Staff members live on-site during camp.
• Staff members receive financial honorariums.
• All expenses while participating are covered (housing, food, activities, etc.).

Before Village, staff members will: 

• Receive online and local training in weeks leading up to camp.
• Attend meetings before camp to help develop the program.

Candidates must: 

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Submit an application.
• Agree to a background check.
• Provide references.
