- Schedule and conduct monthly board meetings September - June; Set agenda and moderate discussion
- Plan and lead annual board retreat
- Book meeting spaces (or delegate) for regular meetings, including welcome back picnic, selection mini camp, welcome potluck, prep day, farewell picnic, and board retreat
- Manage communications in chapter inbox
- Share relevant updates from National or International with board members
- Participate in CISV USA national meeting, football pool, monthly chapter development calls, and chapter development trainings
- Coordinate with program chairs to identify football pool picks
- Complete quarterly chapter reports for national, as well as annual chapter directory update, 10-year hosting plan, and hosting charter
- Ensure regular chapter operations
- Provide support to other board members and committee members as needed
- Serve as a general main point of contact for the chapter
- Attend annual finance committee meeting, help set program fees and budget
- Troubleshoot chapter issues as they arise
- Sit on interview committee for leader and staff candidates
- This is a three year term

The Chapter President is elected by the general membership for a three year term. Training from CISV USA is provided.
